Begin the conversation.

Tell us a little about your school, your child or yourself. Every message is read personally, and we aim to reply within one working day.

  • Read personally
  • The first conversation is free
  • No commitment

Send us a message

We use what you send only to reply to you. Please keep it brief: there is no need to include personal or clinical detail here, and we will ask, carefully, for anything we need later.

This form is not for urgent help. If you or your child is in immediate danger, call 999. Kensington Square Therapy is not a crisis service. For other urgent support, see the helplines further down this page.

All fields are required except the first.

I am writing as (optional)

A sentence or two is enough. If you are writing from a school, the school’s name and your role help us reply well.

For schools

Exploring counselling for your school

Heads, deputies, DSLs, SENCOs and pastoral leads: our clinical lead reads every school enquiry personally. A few lines on your school and what you are hoping for is plenty. We will suggest a call at a time that suits you.

Counselling for schools

For parents and carers

Thinking about support for your child

No referral is needed, and there is no commitment at this stage. We listen first, then suggest what might fit, including a parent consultation if that would be the best place to start.

What happens next

Three steps

  1. One

    We read your message

Personally, not by an administrator, usually within the same working day.

  2. Two

    A short conversation

By telephone, video or email, to understand what is prompting you to get in touch.

  3. Three

    A clear suggestion

We suggest the right way forward, or tell you plainly if we are not the best fit and, where we can, who might be.

Questions

Before you write

What happens after I send the form?

Your message is read personally, usually within the same working day. We reply by email or suggest a short call, to understand what is prompting you to get in touch and whether KST is the right fit.

What if KST is not the right fit?

We will say so clearly and, where we can, suggest someone better suited. We would rather point you somewhere helpful than take on work that does not belong with us.

Do you work with families whose school is not a partner?

Yes. Parent consultations, and online therapy for adolescents and young adults, are open to any family. For younger children, sessions take place in school, so tell us which school your child attends and we can talk about what might be possible there. Counselling in school and 11+ groups are arranged with the school itself.

Are fees discussed before I commit?

Yes. Fees and arrangements are talked through in the first conversation, so the right structure can be shaped for your family or your school, and confirmed in writing before anything begins.

Is the first conversation free?

Yes. It costs nothing and commits you to nothing. It is there to help you decide.
